Jesus is Stripped of His Garments

 

 

Let us pray to the Lord:

 

For all those who have been stripped of their value, their dignity, their trust, their homes, their health insurance, their jobs, their families...

Jesus knows your humiliation, your pain, your burden, your exposure, your loss.

Jesus was exposed and stripped of his dignity before a throng of people who hated him and mocked him and spit at him and hit him.  There was no place to run and hide; nor did He seek it.

You, on the otherhand, can pick-up the cloak of your church/community/family's love and assistance and recloth yourself in new opportunities.

You have the chance to start down a different path and begin your life anew.  You can begin with a new slate because of a God who loves you and knows your true worth.
